HELLO HELLO everyone! Here is the video that many of you have been WAITING FOR! Sorry for the LONG wait, but I am a college student so I have been really busy. I tried to make this video as easy as possible. I truly hope you enjoy it, even though it isn't what many have requested. However, this is something that I have been addicted to make lately and now I have the time to share it all with you! Happy Baking, -angeladivine FAQ'S:: Frequently Asked Questions:: 1) Is it safe to bake? -Of course it's safe! if it wasn't they would'nt be giving baking directions on the package now, right? 2) Can you use a microwave for doing this? -NO, unfortunately you MUST use an OVEN 3) How many degrees should you REALLY bake them for? -275 Degrees Farenheit and/or 130 degrees Celcius. 4)How long do you bake them for? -ONLY 15 minutes! use a timer or a timer thats on your microwave, no longer than that otherwise it will be BURNT. 5)Is it safe to re-bake them even after they were baked for 15minutes? -yes it's safe to re-bake, but only a couple of times otherwise it won't be considered good quality anymore 6) Can I use regular Clay or Play-dough? -Unfortunately No. You must use POLYMER CLAY such as Premo, Fimo, or Sculpey III specifically made for baking, and using regular clay wouldn't be such a good idea to use anyway, because after baking them it would crack and fall apart. 7) What are the hooks on the cupcake called? -they are called headpins or eyepins, and when you go to Michaels to find it, the Brand is FINDINGS 8)Where can I buy these materials? -If you live in the U.S, you can buy them in any arts and crafts store such as Michaels, or Joanns, or even wal-mart. 9) Do I have to glaze them? -Of course NOT! you can simply leave it the way it is, it's all up to you on how you want to make it! 10) Can I air dry these in the sun? -No, sorry you can't do that, you must use a oven and of course no microwave either, unless it SPECIFICALLY says that you can air dry the clay. 11) Do you sell them at all? -I do sell them but only LOCALLY, I DO NOT sell them online whatsoever. I wish I did, but I'm still in the process of doing that. 12) where do you get the ideas to make these? -well first of all, I LOVE cupcakes and any sweet desserts and I try to imagine how AWESOME it would be to have them as little bracelets or earrings and knowing that their handmade by me?! how much cooler is that! =) so I try to think of more things to make, I'm still a beginner but if you guys have any ideas let me know and I'll try to do a tutorial for it! =) 13) Do you know how to make them scented? -Actually yes I do! but I don't really know the exact directions on how to make them scented for a while, but I've been researching it and I've seen that people have used scented oils used for candles and soaps! but the problem is figuring out how much you need in order to make it smell for descent amount of time without over doing it. 14) Do I put the Headpin/Eyepin (hook) before OR after baking? -You put the eyepins in BEFORE baking of course otherwise you will have hard time putting those little suckers into the cupcake! 15) How much does the clay cost? -It all depends on where you buy them of course, I live in San Diego,CA [USA] and I buy them at Michaels ONLY, so the price I usually pay PER sculpey is $1.99 and the Glaze costs $3.79, and the eyepins are $2.99 for 190pk. During Christmas time though they had a huge sale and the sculpey was $0.99!! EACH! so I went crazy and bought every color but I do run out fast! hahah. ;p 16) How long does it take you to make each item or cupcake? -in the beginning I totally sucked! haha, my first batch took me 3hours and I only made like what? 12? lol. Later on after doing many of them and practicing, It takes me 15min or less now to make a batch! 17) how did you learn to make these? -Youtube of course! I would give credit to the people who showed their videos, but I can't really remember. I do remember that the VERY first time I learned how to make these was from deviantart.com, and they had a picture tutorial on how to make them and I got Hooked ever since! 18) Is it safe and Okay to bake in the big oven, If I don't have a small oven? -Yes it's perfectly safe! I just use the small oven because it's more convenient for ME, and if you use the big oven you use the same baking directions too!
