The goal of Family Service International is to provide families excellent opportunities to serve as families to help orphans in 2nd and 3rd world countries. We do this by organizing construction projects and other work that is critically needed, by spending quality time with the orphans, and by accepting needed funds to help these facilities function on a day to day basis. There are many great organizations out there, but ours is unique because it gives your whole family the opportunity to experience service in a completely different culture and environment. Currently we travel to Baja California in Mexico yearly for a week of labor and construction projects for several orphanages in the area. In the past we've completed projects consisting of painting, sidewalk construction, and dormitory construction. Our trip this summer will include building a second dorm. For our younger volunteers we have supervised games and crafts that they do with the orphans. Currently our group of families is organized for this summer's trip. What we really need immediately are funds to support the projects planned for this summer's trip. Get your family involved now by finding ways to earn money to support current and future projects.
