Hi, my name is Donna, I'm married with two wonderful daughters. We live on the south coast of England near Bournemouth. For as long as I can remember I've been into crafts of some sort, mainly cross-stitch pictures and cards. Then about fourteen years ago I got into card-making, which my husband says is the worst thing that could ever have happened to our bank account, after a few years I discovered scrapbooking and found another papercraft that fed my paper addiction. Then about eight years ago I was asked by my local craft shop if I would teach classes and organise their scrapbook crops for them, an offer that I accepted eagerly, from there it lead to me becoming a demonstrator for two major craft distributors in the UK - demonstrating all over the south of England. I was also lucky enough to have projects accepted by two magazines and asked by retailers to demonstrate and teach classes on a freelance basis. It felt like a dream come true being paid to teach and demonstrate my hobby that was until may 2006 when I was taken seriously ill and had to give up working. Thankfully I'm now getting back to normal and trying to get back to working within the craft industry again, currently I roadtest products and make samples that are used on the shopping channel Create & Craft TV, and in 2008 I was asked to film an instructional project for their website. I've been asked to start contributing projects to some of the craft magazines, worked for numerous online design teams and I've started to get other work enquiries so fingers crossed that I'm lucky again to have back the dream. My favorite papercrafts are anything to do with rubber stamps and inks, decoupage, paper folding, templates, stencils, parchment craft - basically anything that can be done with paper! My main idols in the industry are Suze Weinberg, Tim Holtz, Joanna Sheen, Jayne Nestorenko and Christine Coleman although there are many others that I admire greatly.
